Obituary for Marie Slatten

Marie  Slatten
Mrs. Marie Slatten, age 85 of Quebeck, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018, at Life Care Center of Sparta. Born Thursday, April 21, 1932 in White County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Ransom and Nora Swindell.

Funeral services for Mrs. Slatten will be held at 1pm on Thursdsay, January 11, 2018,in the chapel of Oak Lawn Funeral Home with Mike Steakley, Carol McEntyre and Doug Goff officiating. Burial will follow in Jericho Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 4-8pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Slatten's surviving family members include the following:
Her husband of 68 years, Glenn Slatten.
daughter- Rita Lois Slatten England and husband H.L. England
two granddaughters - Carol McEntyre and husband Michael
Heather Mullins and husband Chris
great grandchildren - Aiden Mullins, Nathan McEntyre & Marin McEntyre
nephews - Billy Michael Rice, Clay Swindell, Wayne Swindell and
Ricky Swindell
neices - Wanda Savage, Linda Ann Jones, Janice Kay Haston, Vickie Goff,
Karen Maxwell, Carolyn Derryberry and Kathy Seibers
sisters-in-law --Estelle Swindell, June Swindell and Mary Swindell
Several great neices and great nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Slatten was preceded in death by six brothers, Ernest, John H, H.C., G.W. , Jim and Bobby Swindell ; two sisters, Bertha Mae and Mozell; three neices, Doris Ray Rigsby, Rhonda Marie Swindell and Johnann Haston; two nephews, Danny Swindell and Donald Rice.
