Condolence: To the family of Larry Bergum I send my deepest condolences. Larry and I met in 2001 when I had accepted the position of Clerk of Court for the District of Montana. Every morning at the Russell Smith Courthouse, I was greeted by Larry at 6 a.m. with a handshake and a hearty “Good Morning, Patrick!” His enthusiasm and dedication to the security of the Courthouse and those who worked there was remarkable, and I asked the Chief Deputy Marshal that he be placed in charge of the CSO’s - a position he discharged with competence, thoroughness and humility. I was honored to work with him and to call him my friend.

Condolence: So many great memories of Larry who was always a bright light in my MHP career. Always a positive experience just to meet him for coffee and to catch up on the news. So happy to see he enjoyed so much time with his family and I will always be sorry that we never ran into each other again after going our separate ways. Good guys always leave to soon.
