The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Irene Cook can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Betty & Glenn Megill
Condolence: To the family of Irene Cook,

Glenn and I were sorry to hear of Irene's passing. I remember her as a gentle, warm and kind woman. Glenn's recollection is that she had the gift of hospitality. My most vivid remembrance is at my daughter, Christy's wedding when your Dad and she were recognized for being the couple longest married at 60 years, I believe. Irene was also very kind to Glenn's mother, Nell. If my memory serves me right Nell was a recipient of one of Irene's beautiful paintings that always hung in the hallway in her apartment.
No matter our age it is always difficult to lose our parents. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you move through this time of grief.
Blessings
Betty and Glenn Megill

Condolence From: PEGGY MULVAN
Condolence: To the family of Irene Cook, I tried to send a message before but it didn't seem to go through, so I am trying again. Iam so sorry to hear of Irene's passing. She was such a lovely person and was always so kind and thoughtful to everyone. I knew Irene through the pool class in Point Pleasant Beach and was part of a Red Hat group that Irene often joined when we had one of our luncheons. It was always so pleasant to have her with us. May God comfort all of you and know that you are in my prayers. Sincerely, Peggy Mulvan.
