Debra Kay Wicker, 60, of Piedmont, MO, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at her residence. She was born in St. Louis, MO, August 7, 1957, to parents Roy and Clara (Wells) Barton.

Debra had worked as a housekeeper and as a nurses aid for many years. She had spent the last thirty years in the Piedmont area where she had worked as a bus driver for Clearwater R-1 school district. Debra loved the outdoors including fishing and canoeing. She also enjoyed being with people, especially family. She was a loving and devoted mother.

Debra is survived by granddaughter, Helen Kathryn Foster; brother, Ray Barton and wife Susan of Annapolis, MO; sisters, Lula Coomes and husband Donald of Portage Des Sioux, MO, Louise Carte and husband and Bob of Annapolis, MO and Glenda Yokel of Greenville, MO; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Hank; and sister, Marie Bunton.

There was a memorial visitation for Debra on Saturday, January 13, 2018, from 12:30 pm-1:00 pm, at Ruegg Funeral Home, Piedmont, MO. Memorial services followed at 1:00 pm, also at the chapel. Family members Rhonda Plowman, Lula Coomes, Glenda Yokel and Patty Ferguson shared memories of Debra's life. Online condolences can be made at www.rueggfuneralhomes.com
