Patrick Edward Carpenter III, 66, Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Rev. Hailey Robinson officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Eddie was born November 8, 1951 in Shreveport, LA the son of Patrick Edward Carpenter Jr. and Sara Goit Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his mother; and his daughter, Lisa Carpenter.
He retired from Clarksville Fire Department and was a member of New Providence United Methodist Church and former member of the Jaycee.
Other than his father, he is survived by his wife of 30 years, Brenda Van Pelt Carpenter; son, Patrick (Diana) Carpenter IV; son by marriage, Randy (Heather) McCoy; brother, Phillip (Karen) Carpenter; and sister, Jane Carpenter; grandchildren by marriage, Savannah McCoy, R.J. McCoy, Marissa McCoy, Lindsey McCoy; nephew, Adam Carpenter, Amy (Daniel) Gardner; great-niece, Penelope Gardner.
