Obituary for Hugh Hester Barton II
Hugh H Barton II lost his battle with cancer on January 8, 2018.
Hugh was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend to many and a die hard Gator-chomp chomp. Hugh was born in Dayton, Ohio on August 4, 1944 to Hugh and Lucille Barton. He was raised in a military family, settling in Brevard in the early 60’s. Hugh began a career at Radiation in 1966 retiring from Intersil, formerly Harris Semiconductor in 2004. Hugh is survived by his wife Peggy of 52 years, 3 children Keith (Christi), Leslie, Danny (Emily) 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday January 12 at 4 pm at Catholic Church of Our Lady of Lourdes. Internment will be held on Saturday January 13 at Orange hill Cemetery in Williston, Florida.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Brevard County Chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
