Robert L. Thompson was born August 15, 1931 in Bradentown, FL. Robert passed away from a long standing illness on January 1, 2018.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Harold Thompson Sr., mother Annie Ester Livingston Baldwin, brother Harold Thompson, Jr., sisters Electra D. Thompson, Maxine Sneed (Donald), Sister-in-law Diane Thompson and Tahitia Milton, and brother-in-law Grady Milton.
He is survived by his beloved wife Carolyn Y. Thompson, stepsons, Shawn and Jason Haywood, grandchildren, Ty’ara, Ariana, Trininity and Kharizmah Haywood, his siblings, Mildred Watts (Howard), Cornelia Johnson, Kevin Thompson (Beverly), adopted brother, James West, Mother-in-law Barbara Milton (Leroy Harrell), brother-in-laws, John, James, David and Tom Milton, Sister-in-laws, Robin Milton, Dolores Kelley (Lewis).
Robert (BO) leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Special friends who were there for him from beginning to the end John Allen and Ann Dun.
There will be a Viewing on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 9:00 to 10:00am followed by Funeral Service at 10:00am at St. Paul A.M.E. Church 37 Bishop Allen Dr., Cambridge, MA 02139
Interment: Massachusetts National Cemetery (Bourne).
