Condolence: Sissy, I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. It is never easy to finally lose someone we love with all our heart. We watch them leave us and grieve for them daily long before they are finally granted their relief and eternal peace. Condolence: I send my sympathies and prayers to her family and those who loved her. I had the pleasure of serving as a Petersburg Public School Superintendent during her many years as board Secretary in Petersburg, and I could never have had a person who was more supportive, helpful, and who took me under her wings as I undertook the job of running the Petersburg Schools. She was loving and caring and didn't miss a single opportunity to give me her guidance and council and I have no doubt that I was a better superintendent in Petersburg, and in successive Superintendencies over the next 20 years. The people of Petersburg are fortunate to of had her services. She made a difference for all who came under her influence.
