Condolence: My mother, Bettie Herrera, and Nancy were best friends since they were little, and when Joe came into Nancy's life, my mom immediately loved him. He was like an uncle to me when I was growing up, and I have so many happy memories sitting in their kitchen playing with the magnets while Joe, Nancy, and my mom would talk the day away about going to school together and sharing memories over the years with each other.

My mother went home to be with the Lord in 2011, followed by Nancy in 2014. I can't help but be comforted in knowing that the three of them are together again, laughing and sharing cherished times with each other until I join them one day.

My heartfelt condolences to everyone in the family, especially Larry and Steve. Your father was a very special man who always treated me as a special part of your family, and I will miss him very much. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
