Obituary for William James Hind

William James Hind
69, of Glen Haven passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 after his brief battle with cancer. Born in Portsmouth, England he was the son of the late Arthur Edward and Sheila (Connell) Hind. William loved his family above all. He spent his working life as an accomplished ship builder in several countries and had a great love for the sea and sailing. He will be missed by all. Survived by his wife Marianne; son, Simon, Ottawa, ONT; daughter, Caroline, Stouffville, ONT; grandchildren, Abbie and Amy; brothers, Edward (Trudy); Peter (Paula); Harry (Rebecca). The family will receive visitors 2-4 p.m. Friday January 19 in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, 13549 Peggy’s Cove Road, Upper Tantallon.
