Passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the Rosedale Retirement Residence on Sunday, January 14, 2018. Ralph Jesse Dawson, at the age of 95 years. Loving husband of Louise Dawson (nee Salmon) for 71 years. Father of Bill Dawson (Marjorie), Ken Dawson (Phyllis), and Anne Ball (Ron). Grandfather of Michael (Amy), Karen, Katie (Scott), Rachael, and Ryan (Sarah). Great Grandfather of Ethan, Hilton, Nora, and Lia. Predeceased by his parents, Hilton and Bessie Dawson, sisters, Marjorie, Beatrice, and Muriel, and brothers, Ivan, Percy, Merrill, and Norman.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Friday, January 19th from 4-8 pm and Saturday, January 20th from 10-11 am. A ceremony celebrating Ralph's life will be held in the chapel on Saturday, January 20th at 11 am. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery, after the service, with a reception to follow at the Irvine Reception Centre. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Lords Mills Cemetery, Oakland Cemetery, the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation; Palliative Care, or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
