Obituary for Kenneth J. Miller

Kenneth J. Miller of Avoca died Monday January 15, 2018 at home.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Charles and Millicent Kelly Miller. He is a graduate of Scranton Central High School, Class of 1983. Ken was a lifelong musician, playing in many different bands starting in high school and throughout the rest of his life. While his passion was the drums, he also played the guitar and loved to sing. He also loved to write and record his own music.
Also surviving are daughter Jenna Miller; son Erik Miller, both of Jessup; brother David Miller and wife Erin, Mt. Pocono; sister Janet Langan and husband Patrick, Scranton; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted on Friday from the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc. 436 Cedar Ave. with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter’s Cathedral, 315 Wyoming Ave., Scranton. Interment in Abington Hills Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends and family may call Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
