Obituary for Donna Marie Woods (Marquette)
Donna Marie Woods of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on January 13, 1965, a daughter to the late Edward August Marquette, Jr. and the late Margaret Carol (Burdick) Marquette. On June 1, 1996, Donna was united in marriage to Donald W. Woods and they shared twenty-one years together.
Donna entered eternal rest on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the St. Anthony’s Medical Center having reached fifty-three years of age.
Donna will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her beloved husband, Donald Woods of Mineral Point; children: Richard Burns and Candee, Jammie Burns, and Rachel Price and Vincent – all of Potosi; sisters: Carol Adams and Arlie, Barb Kurtz and Charlie, Ruth Johnson and Wayne, and Debbie Mackenzie and Hugh; nine grandchildren: Jonathan Burns, Deziree Burns, Clarissa Burns, Carla Burns, Tayhevon Jackson, Deshawn Jackson, Jazlynn Jackson, Maddison Price, and Zoe Price; three great-grandchildren: Haiden Berry, Harley Benson, and Autumn Burns; also surviving are extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her infant son, Michael Burns; and her brother, Edward August Marquette III.
Visitation for Donna was held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the DeClue Funeral Home, beginning at 11:00 AM. A funeral service began at 2:00 PM, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel.
All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
