Obituary for Rose Marie Gray (Johnson)
Rose Marie Gray of Potosi, Missouri, was born February 8, 1931, in Potosi, Missouri, a daughter of the late James and Belle (Ellis) Johnson. Rose departed this life January 15, 2018, at Washington County memorial Hospital, having reached the age of eighty-six years, eleven months and seven days.
Rose is survived by two daughters, Carole Elaine (James O.) Johnson of Baton Rouge, LA, and Jacquelyn (Joseph) Becquette of Festus, MO, two sons, Gregory “Greg” Smith of Potosi, MO, and Kim Smith of Potosi, MO, and by many grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband Rose was also preceded in death by two sons, Richard Smith and Daniel Smith, Jr., four sisters, Patience Robinson, Barbara Jennings, Zelma Casey and Gloria Cherry, two brothers, Marvin Johnson and Louis Johnson.
Rose was a longtime employee of the Washington County Memorial Hospital and a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church.
