Obituary for Katherine Guire
Katherine Guire, age 86 of West Long Branch, died on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, she had lived the past 59 years in West Long Branch.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jacques “Jack” Guire. Sr. in 2003; her parents, Sam and Mary Conte; 3 brothers, Sam Conte, Frank Conte, Joe Conte and her sister, Clara Minor. Surviving are her sons, Jacques “Jack” Guire, Jr. and John Guire and his wife Deb; her daughter Diane Guire; a grandson, Jacques Guire, III and Kaitlyn Martin; a great grandson, Jacques Guire IV and 3 sisters-in-law, Yvonne L. Guire, Florence Conte and Jesse Conte.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 23 from 4-8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Avenue in Long Branch. Funeral Wednesday at 10 am funeral home with the service to begin at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Long Branch First Aid Squad, P.O. Box 197, West Long Branch, NJ 07764. The family invites you to write a letter of condolence, share a story or make a donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
