Obituary for Julien Edmond Foisy
The family of Julien Edmond Foisy of St. Albert, formerly of St. Paul, Alberta announces his passing in St. Albert on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the age of 87 years.
Julien will be forever remembered and loved by his five daughters: Denise (Dave) Thomson of St. Albert, Doris (Glen) Porter of Chestermere, Marie-Anne Howard of St. Albert, Yolande (Danny) Tkachyk of Sherwood Park, Angele (Ben) Lee of Calgary; eleven grandchildren: Kayla (Eric) Moffett, Josh Tkachyk, Nicole Tkachyk, Brooke Thomson, Paige Thomson, Dallan Porter, Emma Howard, Hanna Howard, Lindsay (Jordan) Matters, Brandon Porter; five brothers: Aime (Gabrielle) Foisy, Hubert (Lenora) Foisy, Lionel (Carol) Foisy, Roger (Antoinette) Foisy, Roland (Marie) Foisy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews & other relatives.
Julien was predeceased by his wife: Annette Foisy in 1979; son-in-law: Richard Howard in November 2016; two sisters: Rita Desaulniers, Alma Desaulniers.
Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul, Alberta with Father Gérard Gauthier as celebrant. Honorary pallbearers: Kayla & Eric Moffett, Nicole Tkachyk, Brooke Thomson, Paige Thomson, Emma Howard, Hanna Howard, Lindsay & Jordan Matters, Brandon Porter. Pallbearers: Danny Tkachyk, Dave Thomson, Glen Porter, Ben Lee, Josh Tkachyk, Dallan Porter. Final resting place, St. Bernard Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lafond, AB.
