Catherine “Kitty” Driscoll, age 100, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Kindred Greenbriar Healthcare Center in Nashua. She was born on April 22, 1917 in Staten Island, NY, the daughter of the late Carmine and Maria (Tufo) Bertucci.

Kitty was the fourth of six children. She married her first husband, Nicholas Tranchina in 1948 and after his sudden death, continued to live in Staten Island with her daughter Josephine and her parents. In October of 1971, she married her second husband John Hudson Driscoll. After John’s passing in 1986, Catherine moved to Nashua to live with her daughter. In NH, Catherine thrived at the Gateways Adult Service Day Program, where she met many friends, did crafts and wore a permanent big smile on her face. After relocating to Kindred Greenbriar Healthcare Center in 2015, Kitty continued to make friends and do crafts and buzz around on her walker sharing her smile with everyone.

Kitty spent her life taking care of the people around her. She adored her family and her grandchildren. Kitty also shared a special love for her cat, Onyx.

In addition to her husbands, Kitty was predeceased by an infant son Salvatore.

Kitty leaves behind daughters, Josephine “Jo” Driscoll and her husband Leo Talbot of Manchester and Patricia “Patsy” Dunne of Staten Island, NY; grandchildren, Gary and his wife Jennifer Driscoll of Merrimack, Keith Driscoll also of Merrimack and Brennan Driscoll of New York; sister, Angela Vento of New Jersey and a brother Anthony Bertucci. Kitty also leaves behind numerous loving step grandchildren, great grandchildren and other extended family members.

SERVICES: Family and friends are warmly invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at the Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, January 25 at 10:00AM at the Immaculate Conception Church, 216 E Dunstable Rd., Nashua. Burial will immediately follow in St. Louis Cemetery, 752 W Hollis St., Nashua.
