Obituary for Peggy Ann Seay

Peggy Ann  Seay
Peggy A. Goldmann Seay, 78 of Robinson, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Graveside services will be Monday, January 29, at 1:00 p.m. at Waco Memorial Park with Jerry Walters officiating. The family will receive visitors Saturday, January 27, from 5-7:00 p.m., at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3124 Robinson Drive, Waco, TX.

Peggy was born January 10, 1940, in Patrick, Texas, to William and Ruby Kelly Goldmann. She moved to Robinson with her family in the early 1950’s. She attended China Spring, University High School and graduated from Lorena High School in 1958. She also attended Baylor University. Peggy met her husband in 1963 while he was stationed at Ft. Hood and they married on November 28, 1964. After returning from living in Virginia for a year, Peggy began working for Certainteed. She worked there for 40 years as an accounting clerk. Peggy was a longtime member of Robinson First Baptist Church and Meadowbrook Baptist Church. She spent her time volunteering with the Waco Firefighter’s Ladies Auxiliary, helping with the Lorena Ex Students Association for many years and volunteering many hours at Robinson Schools and Robinson Little League for her children.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law, Doug and Mary Brown.

Peggy is survived by her husband James Seay; children Jimmy Seay of Whitney and Deanne Kramer and husband Denny of Lorena; grandchildren Alyssa, Savannah and Layla Seay of Maypearl and Emerson, Grayson and Addison Kramer of Lorena; along with many cousins, nieces and nephews in Texas and Virginia.
