Eleanor A. Zawacki, of New Windsor, NY entered into eternal rest on January 25, 2018 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 91 years old.

The daughter of the late Joseph L. Wiatrak and Rozalia Pycior Wiatrak, Eleanor was born on January 17, 1927 in Brooklyn, NY.

Eleanor was a retired Bookkeeper for Cullen & Dykmann, LLP in Brooklyn, NY.

She was an active member of Saint Francis of Assisi Church. Her greatest enjoyment was being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always being there for them with profound understanding, encouragement, and great advice. She will be greatly missed.

Eleanor is survived by her son: Joseph Zawacki of Suffern, NY; her daughters: Patricia G. Hahn of Boyertown, PA and Constance L. D’Agostino of New Windsor, NY; six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and her sister: Frances Borriello of Palm City, FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 30th at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 145 Benkard Ave, Newburgh, NY. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, US Highway 1 North, Woodbridge, NJ.
