With great sadness, we announce the passing of our dear mother Alba Puntillo (née Zuccarelli) on January 27, 2018. Predeceased in 2003 by her loving husband of 49 years, Luigi Puntillo. She will be greatly missed by her children; Sarah Misasi (Francesco, predeceased), Carmela Zanier (Riccardo), Giuseppe Puntillo (Mary Jo), and Anna Maria Puntillo. Cherished by her grandchildren; Salvatore (Tara), Laura (Paul), Andrew (Alison), Alexander, and Christiana and her great-grandchildren Isabella and Sofia. Alba will be missed by all of her family and friends. Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Monday, January 29 from 3-9 PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Philip Neri R.C. Church (2100 Jane Street) Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 10 AM. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery (7300 HWY 27., north of Steeles Ave. W.) In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
