Our daughter passed most unexpectedly while visiting family in Lake Placid. It was a very difficult event, but being assisted by Scott Seawinds provided a measure of dignity, peace, and comfort.

Condolence: The good Lord must have needed a B727 captain and a lot of work to be done in heaven. Captain Ray Meyers will be missed by many people. Ray lives on in our memories and I have many good memories of him.

Condolence: Ray was a good friend and will be sincerely missed. When he lived in Kansas City MO he would come to Lincoln, NE and stay at our house. Are whole family enjoyed the stories he told, especially our kids. We also liked to go to he local airport where Ray would fly his remote controlled planes.

Condolence: Stacey,Jenny,Judy. My heart is truly aching with you. I knew Ray for over 40 years. He was a dad,brother,instructor,mentor and a host of other things to me. Most of all he was the truest of friends. I will certainly miss the stories and jokes we shared. I will miss our calls and annual visits. He was always there for me and any of his friends. He was there as my best man when I started my life with Robin. I learned work ethics from him. He was the hardest working person I've ever known. He always had a project going and had some for us when we visited. We look forward to continuing that ethic with Stacey. He will never be forgotten.
