The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Betty Graves can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Precious Graves family,

You have all been a huge part of my life in one way or another since my family came to Burleson in 1963. Mrs. Graves was my Sunday school teacher at Crestmont on and off from 1st-12th grade. The impact she had on my upbringing and my faith is marvelous and truly helped me set a strong, personal Christian base, from which I continually draw. Needless to say, she assisted me academically, as she did an uncountable number of people throughout her teaching tenure and her patience and understanding set the perfect example of the kind of person I hope to emulate.

I am so very blessed to have known Mrs. Graves, and I join you in grieving the loss of such a grand lady. With you as well, I celebrate that her sweet, kind soul is undoubtedly now with our Lord and Savior. I pray you all find comfort and strength in His words and through the love of your friends, to pass through the days to come on the journey to see her again someday.

From the deepest, most sincere depths of my heart, may peace be with you.

Tami
