Obituary for James Kaiser

James Kaiser
James “Jim” Kaiser, 62, of Greeley, passed away peacefully in his loving wife’s arms at their home, on January 27, 2018.

Jim was born in Denver, to Clarence & Ruby (Lynn) Kaiser on December 18, 1955. On November 17, 1978 in Greeley, Jim married the love of his life, Pamela (Coffin) Kaiser.

Jim was known as an adventurous and spontaneous dreamer who’s “wheels never stopped turning.” He was a man full of passions and beliefs of all kinds. Jim loved traveling, nature, and every animal he rescued and brought home. He had a true love for his wife, family, and all of his friends. Jim loved to have discussions with anyone who would listen. All of his arguments were always well reasoned, passionate, and intelligent.

Jim was a man who loved discovery! He would spend countless hours looking for fossils, gems, anything that peaked his curiosity. Everything he found was amazing to him, which was why his personal collection of “discoveries” continued to grow with every expedition.

Jim was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Greeley/Evans, Rock & Gem Society, and the Killie Fish Society.

Jim is survived by his wife; children, Candice “Bea” & Justin “Bo” Kaiser; sister, Susan (Mark) Aldrich; brothers-in-law, CA (Linda), Curtis (Nancy), Martin (Anne), and Scott (Tonya) Coffin; nephews, Joshua and Jeremiah Aldrich, Carter, Austin, and Drew Coffin; niece, Kimberly Coffin; loving four legged companion, Bridget; and a loving large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ann Marie Kaiser.

A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Loyal Order Of Moose, 3456 11th Avenue, Evans, Colorado.
