Obituary for Marie Frances Baisden (Coy)
1928-2018
Marie Frances Baisden went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at the blessed age of 89. She was born in Nuvall, West Virginia, on December 15, 1928, to Mamie Suttle Coy and George Coy. Marie faithfully served the Lord all her life, spreading the hope and joy of the Gospel to everyone she met. Marie daily encouraged many to walk a faithful path with Jesus. She leaves behind a heritage of a true discipleship of His work. Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Clifford (Little Bit) Baisden; her parents; six siblings, Linda Baisden, 1 great grandchild, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Marie is survived by one sister, Ruth Phelps; her five children, Frances Tallman (Victor), Bonnie Whitley (Nathan), David Baisden (Cheri), George Baisden, and Steve Baisden; and twelve grandchildren, Melissa Nisuis (Michael), Jess Tallman (Danielle), Eric Tallman (Trista), Steven Whitley (Kasie), Tina Hitchcock (Jeff), Kristy Ward (William), Jeremiah Baisden (Ronalda), Bonnie Jeanne Gifford (Randy), Isaiah Baisden (Christine Tillman), George Baisden Jr., Ryan Baisden, and Stephanie Fagnan (Timothy). She is also survived by thirty-one great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Steven Whitley, Jess Tallman, Jeremiah Baisden, Isaiah Baisden, Ryan Baisden, George Baisden Jr., and Eric Tallman. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Nusuis, Jeff Hitchcock, William Ward, Timothy Fagnan, Randy Gifford, Elizabeth Hitchcock.
All services will be held at Temple of Peace where she was saved. A viewing will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday, February 3, 2018, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am.
Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Los Lunas Chapel, 2211-D Main St., (505) 866-9992.
