Marie Kime, 70, of Jessup, formerly of Throop, and of the Tripp Park section of Scranton died Wednesday January 31, 2018 at the Geisinger Community Medical Center. Her husband is Donald Kime and they just celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on January 21st.
Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Edward and Marie Lameo Polovitch and step-daughter of the late Margaret Polovitch and was educated in Throop and Scranton schools.
Marie was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spend time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Also surviving are children Dawn Paciotti, Jessup, Donald Kime Jr., Jessup, Keith Kime, Peckville, and Stacey Cawley and husband Brett Peckville; grandchildren Alexia Paciotti Connors and husband Bob, Fallon and Payton Paciotti, Ashley Kime, Michael Cipilewski, Asia Zurine, and Kendall Kime; great-grandchildren Carter Drutherosky and Emmalyn Connors; sisters Marge Keiper and husband John, Ranson Twp., and Carol Davies and husband Rich, Lake Sheridan; brother Edward Polovitch and wife Joan, Scranton; several nieces and nephews
A blessing service will be held Friday in the Solfanelli-Fiorillo Funeral Home Inc., 1030 N. Main Ave. at 7 pm. Family and friends may pay their respects from 4 pm until service time. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
