Hollins N. Randolph Jr., 83 Of Charles Town, WV passed away at his home on January 31, 2018 under the loving care of his family and Hospice of the Panhandle.
Holly was born on June 2, 934 in Wheeling, WV. He was the son of Hollins N. Randolph and Mary Virginia Hoge. He was proceeded in death by his brother Thomas Jefferson Randolph of WInchester, VA.
The family began farming in Jefferson County in 1938. Holly graduated from McDonogh School in 1954. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served 4 years, Upon returning home from his military service, he was employed full time for 40 years with Halltown Paperboard where he worked as a Millwright. After he retired from Halltown Paperboard, he enjoyed working part-time for Zachary Homes, which he did for 7 years.
Holly was a dedicated lifetime volunteer fireman and member since 1964 with Citizens Fire Company. He was also a member of the Charles Town Baptist Church. During his retirement years, Holly enjoyed being on the Senior Bowling League at Shenandoah Lanes.
Holly leaves behind 3 daughters and sons-in-law; Bonnie S. Smith; Martha C. Hyre and husband, Rick; Angie Breeden and husband, John; and son Nick Randolph and wife, Amy. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren; Jason, Matthew, and Lisa Smith; Tess Hyre; Nicole Kropp and Nina Randolph; John; Cassie, and Lilly Breeden. He also leaves 5 great grandchildren. Holly will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Charles Town Baptist Church at 1:00p.m., with pastor Brian Hotatling officiating. There will be a reception immediately following the service in the fellowship hall of the church.
Burial services will be held at a later date at the family cemetery in Monticello In Charlottesville, VA.
