The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Betsy Thompson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: The Chamberlin Family
Condolence: The world has lost one of its most beautiful and loving souls.
We all grew up knowing Betsy as our Aunt Betsy and she had a profound impact on us knowing Jesus as our Lord and Friend. Aunt Betsy loved our Mom and I know they are walking together in the gardens of our Lord. She and John were never far away when help was needed when our disabled sister was rushed off to a Phila hospital. Aunt Betsy and the women at Calvery were always there to lend a helping hand. I know that everyone who was blessed enough to have been in her Sunday School Class or BYF became a better person because of Betsy Thompson and her love for the Lord. Our hearts reach out to her family at this time...

Condolence From: David Sherman
Condolence: Aunt Betsy was part of my entire 55 years. She is part of one of the few families bigger than the Shermans in number, at Calvary Baptist Church. I know or knew so many of them. Sorry for your loss. She lived a wonderful life and will missed by all. David

Condolence From: Linda Locklear
Condolence: Dear John and Family,
We are so sorry for your great loss. Betsy was a wonderful woman. A faithful servant of the lord and a great roll model for so many, including me, at our humble church. I am comfident that she is sitting at the right hand of our Father in heaven and will be watching over us all. Praying for your peace and comfort always.
Love,
Linda, Dean and Sarah
