The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael Harvey can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Bill Strang
Condolence: I was stunned, along with everyone else, to learn of Mike's passing. My deepest condolences to Patti, Tim, Natalie, Mike's parents Ida and Seward, Mike's extended family and his friends.

I am profoundly saddened by Mike's passing. We were best friends for about the last 50 years. He was a great friend in high school and college, and I am a far better person for having known him. I will miss my friend for the rest of my life.

Condolence: I am so shocked at the news of Mike's passing and wish to send my deep condolences to Patty and the family. I worked with Mike for many years and he was not only a top-notch engineer, he was a deeply principled person who always set the highest standards for himself and inspired the same in others. He was the consummate engineer.

And more than just a great engineer he was a friend. Lisa & I have very fond memories of our time together with Mike & Patty. We will truly miss him.

Steve

Condolence: Pat, Tim and Natalie, I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I am praying for your strength at this time and for healing and peace to eventually come. I can only imagine how difficult this has been. I hope you know how reassuring and comforting my family and I felt whenever we looked out one of the windows in our house and saw Pat and Mike walking Cody and then Penny. Throughout the years we would sometimes see the four of you walking and talking and always laughing! I remember how much Mike liked our dog Buddy, as he said he reminded him of the dog he had when growing up. Natalie and Tim, please know how much Bruce and I looked to your parents as role models while we were raising our kids. Your parents are special people. Please take care of each other and know you are in our thoughts and continued prayers. Love, Colleen and Bruce MacVarish

Condolence: I don't have many childhood memories without Michael in them. He was my older cousin. There were 20 of us. He was second oldest and I was the third in line. I am so happy that I saw Mike last July at his mother's birthday party. He was so happy doting on his granddaughter. My sincere condolences go to Pat, Tim and Natalie. Words can not express how sad I feel. He will always have a special place in my heart.

Condolence: Michael was a WONDERFUL father and husband. I have great memories of watching him with the kids when they were young and I enjoyed hanging out with the family. Extreme pride and joy are words I would use to describe his feelings for his family. Kindness, generous and sweet are other words that come to mind. Pat, Timmy and Natalie had the best father/husband one could ask for. I was blessed to know him.
