Obituary for Idus Wilton "Bill" Evans

Idus Wilton "Bill"  Evans
Idus Wilton “Bill” Evans, 89, of Macon Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018. Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon, Georgia. Services will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery near Rochelle, Georgia, in Wilcox County.
Bill was born on April 25, 1928 in Rose Hill community of Colquitt County Georgia. His parents were R.P. Evans and Louise Griffin Evans. Remaining to cherish his memory is Bill’s wife of 73 years, Sara Annette Gibbs Evans; daughters Betty Jo Coley (Darrell), Cathy Hanson (Ken); sons Donnie Evans and Marks Evans (Rhonda); brother Ottis Evans; sister Marilyn Hutchinson (Joe) and Francis McGirt (Henry); grandchildren Billy Jones, Tommy Herring, Josh Evans, Cody Gunderson and Tyler Evans, six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters and one grandchild.
