Condolence: My heartfelt condolences to the family of Dereck Lopez. There are few experiences more difficult than the loss of a loved one. It is obvious from the many kind expressions, that Dereck will be sadly missed. Unfortunately no one is exempted from the horrible pain of loosing someone in death. I have found though, comfort in knowing death was not part of God's purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed. God's word says 'death is an enemy' and promises it will be 'brought to nothing' as 1Corinthians 15:26 brings out. God guarantees the grief and sorrow we experience is temporary; and that all things that cause us pain and suffering will be wiped away forever as Revelation 21:4 tells us. Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection as John 5:28, 29 says, but he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles including resurrecting those that had died. All these miracles are a for gleam of what is in store for us. I do hope this brings you some comfort in your time of pain.

Condolence: I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Dereck. This is never easy to face, in fact death can be viewed as an enemy. That's how our Creator Jehovah views it as according to 1 Cor. 15:26; which says, "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." May you find comfort in knowing this and that he has a longing to conquer that enemy, to undo death by means of the resurrection.
