The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Isabelle Elliott can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolences

Condolence From: Carolyn Cave (nee Mostert)
Condolence: Our deepest sympathies are extended to the Elliott family. We lived down the hill from the cherry orchard when I was young. Isabelle and I shared a birthday on August 8 and each year on that day, I would go up to the house to give her a gift I had made. She always had something for me, too, and I still treasure some of those gifts. She was a kind and gentle person, a lovely neighbour.

Condolence From: Loretta Mostert
Condolence: I have warm and vivid memories of "Mrs Elliott, up on the hill" and being allowed to pick cherries with another neighbour girl from their trees. She was always smiling and remembered our names, even later in life when she would stop in for roses. Deepest sympathies from the Mostert family.

Condolence: Our heartfelt condolences to the entire Elliott family. Fliz was a remarkable woman who led an amazing life. She was always welcoming to visitors at her Dyson Lake cottage. We will always remember her late afternoon swims - even when others thought the water was too cold!
