Condolence: My thoughts are with the Decker family at this time - a family that became my 2nd family for a long time - the warmest and most welcoming family around. I miss all of you so much!! I had to laugh when I read the part in the obituary about Mr. Decker saying: “Thank you for coming, God Bless & shut off the lights when you leave.” I have very distinct memories of Mr. Decker tip-toeing into Jennifer's room in the middle of the night when I slept over to turn down/off the electric blanket. Scared the bajeebies out of me every time!!! And I will never forget the greeting I received every time he opened the front door, one that so fondly became my nickname: "The dew is on the Heather and the Heather is on the dew"...said in a way only he could say it. And who can forget his immediate tendency to sing along with ANY duet Jennifer and I were playing on the piano...whether it actually had words or not..."Somewhere mein shvein" (no idea what that meant..pretty sure he made up some random German words). You certainly left a mark in my life Mr. Decker! Love, the Dew
