Obituary for Jay Milo Bryant

Jay M. Bryant, 85, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 7, 2018. Jay was born July 11, 1932, to Clarence and Florence Bryant in South Bend, IN.
He graduated from South Bend Central High School in 1951. Upon graduation, Jay joined the United States Marine Corps and went to serve in Korea as a machine gunner.
When Jay returned from Korea he was appointed to serve on the Silent Marine Corps Drill Team as Honor Guard for President Dwight D. Eisenhower. In 1961, Jay moved to Billings, MT to start Green Arrow Park and Shop. He attended Grace Baptist Church where he met Louise Gunderson, the love of his life and they were married in October of 1964. Jay loved teaching the Bible, handing out Bible tracts, and introducing folks to Jesus Christ his Savior. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clarence and Florence Bryant, and sisters Fairlene Bryant, Bonny Jolliff, and Ruby Purdom. Jay is survived by his wife Louise, their children Stephen (Denise) Bryant of Belgrade, MT; Suzanne (Joe) Kovatch, of Bolivar, OH; Valerie Bryant of Billings, MT; his brother Harland Bryant, his sister Anita Presnell, and daughters from a former marriage Jaiann Rains and Kimberly Milenski.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 12th at 10:00 AM. at Charity Baptist Church, 24 Nightingale Dr., Billings, MT with a reception to follow.
Interment will be at 1:00 PM at the Yellowstone National Cemetery, Laurel, MT.
Visitation will be at the Smith’s Funeral Chapel (West) Sunday, February 11th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
The Bryant family requests memorials be given to Charity Baptist Church and designated for a BIEM missionary family.
