Obituary for Rose Colonie
Rose Colonie, age 94 of Long Branch, died Friday, February 9, 2018 at Jersey Shore Center in Eatontown. Born in Long Branch, she was a life resident of the area. Rose was a seamstress for United Sheepline Company and also worked at San Alfonso Retreat House. She was a parishioner of St. Michael’s R.C. Church in West End and Holy Trinity Church of Christ the King Parish.
Rose was predeceased by her husband, William Colonie in 2010, her son, Roger Womack, her daughter, Arlene Chiafullo; her son-in-law, Ralph Chiafullo and her grandson, Thomas Caruso, Jr. Surviving are her daughter, Billie Jo Caruso and her husband Thomas; her step daughter, Judy Colonie; her daughter-in-law, Judy Womack; her grandchildren, Daniella Dalia and her husband Sam, Nicole Chiafullo, Rachel Womack, Damian Womack, Felicia Caruso Tvrdik and her husband Thomas, Hallie Faley and David Wilson; her great grandchildren, Cecelia Tvrdik, Thomas Ryan Tvrdik, Damian Womack, Jr. and Ginevra Dalia.
A Mass of Cristian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Michael’s Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Michael’s Church, 800 Ocean Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740. The family invites you to white a letter of condolence, share a story or make a donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
