I was very sorry to read of Mabel’s death. I have so many fond memories of her and of Karl, and to this day I still often think of Peaceful Valley and the delight of preaching there on a number of occasions. I feel very blessed to have known both of them, and to have been one of their pastors, and I pray for everyone in Mabel’s family God’s deep comfort in your grief and the renewed assurance of the wonderful promise, as the obituary in the newspaper puts it, of “a more glorious life” - in Christ, for eternity.
