Condolence: I was very sorry to read of Mabel’s death. I have so many fond memories of her and of Karl, and to this day I still often think of Peaceful Valley and the delight of preaching there on a number of occasions. I feel very blessed to have known both of them, and to have been one of their pastors, and I pray for everyone in Mabel’s family God’s deep comfort in your grief and the renewed assurance of the wonderful promise, as the obituary in the newspaper puts it, of “a more glorious life” - in Christ, for eternity. God be with you always.

Condolence: We join with you, Kathie and Paul and Debbie and your whole family, in thanksgiving to God for Mabel's gifted life. While we are at a distance in Florida, God's Spirit connects us with you and the friends who are gathered in reflecting on Mabel's life of service. She embodied hospitality in all of its facets, blending care of Karl and your family with the array of guests. Mabel lived out her God-givent vocation in every respect. Our family is grateful to have been recipients of renewal in Peaceful Valley, and, together with the Mundingers, to have assisted in the Chaoel's ministry. The memories of Mabel and Karl participating in the Chapel services and Mabel's care to weddings come vividly to my mind. God give you peace and hope in remembering your dear one!

Condolence: Debbie and family, your mom was such an inspiration to the PV staff. Always cheerful even at the end of a busy day. Favorite memories: banana bavarian, her insistence that I try the tongue she had prepared and the love she and your dad had for each other. Some of my best times were spent at PV. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Condolence: Dear Family of Mabel Boehm: It was such a joy to be around Mabel and to listen to her many stories. She was so welcoming and so kind when I played for the Sunday church services at Peaceful Valley. Those are precious memories and I know that the Lord has welcomed her into heaven to feast with the saints. God's Blessings! Rhonda Boettcher

Condolence: We will always cherish our 22 summers at Peaceful Valley and the gentle spirit of Mabel Boehm. She was the sweet, but strong presence that was the "atmosphere" that we breathed each day.

Condolence From: Janet Sollenberger Puglisi
Condolence: Debbie and Paul, sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a great teacher and mentor to the Sollenberger girls. We all learned to be fast and efficient in our work habits while keeping our sense of humor. I always think of the the dry flour floating through the kitchen when your father turned on the mixer and Mabel was laughing up a storm and sent Karl packing.
