Josefa Lopez Martinez passed away on February 10, 2018 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Josefa was born on August 26, 1935 in San Angelo, Texas to her parents, Lorenzo Lopez and Felipa Guzman.
Josefa was a loving mother, grandmother and spouse. Josefa was always there for her children and did what she could for them as well as anyone close to her. She was a woman full of life and loved to be active. Josefa and her younger sister, Reyna especially enjoyed shopping for shoes, dresses and all the accessories. She always dressed very classy. Josefa also had a great sense of humor and had a nickname for everyone. Josefa was a wonderful homemaker and filled her home with love. She enjoyed growing and taking care of all her plants and flowers. Most importantly, she loved her spiritual relationship with her Lord as well as all of her brothers and sisters in Christ.
Josefa is survived by her sisters, Reynalda Torres, Teresa Salazar, Erma Ramirez; her brothers, Alfredo Lopez and Jesus Lopez. Her children, Gilbert Martinez, Thelma Martinez, Alfred Martinez and wife Rosa, Joyce Rodriguez husband Paul, Sylvia Morales and husband Danny. Josefa also leaves behind her grandchildren, Josephine Cardenas, Fidel Martinez, Joe Lee Martinez, Yolanda Martinez, Alfred Martinez, Sonja Martinez, Joanna Martinez, Veronica Martinez, Amelia Garcia, Anthony Martinez, Amanda Martinez, Jaylin Archie, Jonathan Hernandez, Mia Morales and Ava Morales.
Josefa is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Felipa Lopez; her sisters, Eloisa Ortega, Esther Lopez, Lila Baldivia and Christina Leal as well as her brothers Jose Lopez and Lorenzo Lopez.
Visitation will be held at the Lamb of God Church at 10 a.m. on February 14, 2018 located at 3615 Maurice Avenue Ft. Worth, TX 76111
