Rufus Ezra Neeley, Duffield, VA
Rufus Ezra Neeley, 68, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 at his residence in Duffield, VA.
Rufus was born in Sullivan County, TN on February 13, 1949.
He was preceded in death and was the grandson of Nannie and Charlie Frazier; mother and father, Ruth and Orbin Stacey and Ezra Neeley; his son, Adam Neeley; and brother, James Neeley.
He is survived by his daughters, Reba Jo Justice, Nemia Calton; son, Calvin Neeley and friend; Camille Justice, Duffield, VA; sisters Wanda Yonts, Kingsport and Linda Penley and John Addington, Kingsport; brothers, Gary Stacey and wife Joan, Waters Edge Road, Virginia, Jimmy Ray Stacey and wife Ellen, Yuma, VA, Buster Stacey and wife Gladys, Weber City, VA, and Tony Martin Stacey, and wife Sharon, Duffield, VA; along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Military Graveside Services will be conducted by the American Legion Hammond Post #3, Kingsport, TN and Post #265, Gate City, VA assisted by the Virginia Army National Guard Honors Team, Gate City, VA at 2:00 p.m, Sunday 18, 2018 at the Frazier Austin Cemetery in Duffield, VA. with the Rev. Jackie Frazier officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Those wishing to attend the graveside service, are asked to meet at the Frazier Austin Cemetery, 20499 US Highway 23 South, Duffield, VA at 1:45 p.m.
