Gertrude Winans (Winans)
Gertrude Winans, 81 of Allenwood passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Gertrude had lived in Wall Township and Allenwood her whole life. She was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church, Belmar and was also a member of one of the founding families of the church. There she was a Deaconess, Sunday school Teacher and the nursery attendant. Gertrude loved taking walks and having lunch at the Allenwood General Store.

Gertrude was predeceased by her parents Roger and Margaret Winans and her eight siblings. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Calvary Baptist Church 600 13th Ave Belmar, NJ 07719 on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 11 am to 12 noon at which time the funeral service will begin. Interment to follow at Glendola Cemetery, Wall. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, Belmar.
