Obituary for Kenneth William "Ken" Smith Jr.
Smith, Kenneth W. Jr. Age 84. An extraordinary father. Preceded in death by parents Kenneth & Gladys Smith. Survived by wife Ruth of 61 years; son Brian; daughter Nancy; grandson Cohen; brother Kurt (Sandy); sister Doris (Bill) Jorke; nieces & nephews. Graduated 1952 St. Paul Central. Graduated 1957 U of M Aeronautical Engineering. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. Employed at Fluidyne Engineering for 30 years. Ken was one of the founders in 1977 of the Jaguar Club of Minnesota. For many years he spent time fishing and canoeing in the Bounary Waters. Memorial Service Friday, Feb. 23rd at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church West, 7150 Rolling Acres Rd., Victoria. Visitation 10am - Service 11am. Reception will follow service.
