Minnetta Anne  Isaacks
Minnetta Anne Isaacks, born on August, 27, 1947 in Independence to Bob and Connie Isaacks, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on February 17, 2018. Minnetta was born and raised in Independence, MO. She attended Van Horn High School and Graceland College in Lamoni, IA. Her illustrious career was spent with the Independence Fire Department. Minnetta performed many duties such as dispatcher, Instructor of Fire Safety for the school children and Fire Inspector. She was an active member of the Independence 76 Fire Company for many years serving on the Board and being present at their numerous events. Minnetta was an animal enthusiast. She also loved to travel, cruising to numerous locations throughout the years. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Wallace and Debbie Isaacks of Taylor, MO; close friend and neighbor, Kathy Niemeyer and, of course, her fur babies. A visitation will be held Friday, February 23rd from 8:30-10:00am with a funeral service following at 10:00am, both at Carson Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. Burial will follow the service at Mound Grove Cemetery. Donations can be made to the S.P.C.A. of Independence or the Independence 76 Fire Co.; 220 N. Lynn, Independence, MO 64050.
