Obituary for Rolfe Blodgett Jr.
Rolfe Blodgett, Jr. age 73 of Long Branch died on October 19, 2017 at home. Mr. Blodgett was born in Belmar and moved to Long Branch many years ago. He was a chemical operator at Bayway Refinery in Linden before retiring. He served our Country honorably in the Army National Guard 2nd Battalion 50th Armor Division during the Vietnam War.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rolfe Blodgett, Sr. and Laura Blodgett. Surviving are his son Rolfe Blodgett, III and his sister, Sandra Bartholomew.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, February 22 from 6 – 8 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave. in Long Branch. The family invites you to leave a letter of condolence, light a memorial candle or make a memorial donation by selecting the appropriate tab.
