I know that if my father, Jim Skillings, was still with us, he would have been saddened too, as Alice was more than a cousin, she was a friend. I wasn’t fortunate enough to meet Alice, but have learned about her through my genealogical research and from my parents’ recollections and I wish I had known her.

So sorry to hear of Alice's Passing. She lived a long life and is the last of their group of friends I believe
I hope her passing was gentle and peaceful just as she was.
Unfortunately her passing reminds that we are becoming the older generation and
I certainly am not ready for that.
She lived a full ,fulfilling, faith filled life to be proud of .
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and I am sad that I cannot be there for her funeral. Unfortunately , I am in South Carolina until the first week of May . I will talk to you when I get home. Jim
