Obituary for Deborah F "Debbie" Noble

Deborah F "Debbie" Noble
Deborah F. “Debbie” Noble, 65 of Missoula passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 peacefully at her home in the company of her true love, Joe of “JoMomma.” Debbie was born to Charles and Alene (Stempel) Noble in Cut Bank on November 3, 1952 and was raised in Libby, Montana. She attended Libby HS until the birth of her first daughter, Shannon. She married Robert Orr, and together they had two more children, Eric & Carla. She loved many and married a few. She was “one of kind” and known for her giving heart, big smile, work ethic, and her funny snort-laugh. Friends & family describe her as genuine, nice, “The Life of the Party,” 70’s hippy chick, a pool shark, “the COOL Mom,” and a talented artist, softball player, and chef / cook at MK Steakhouse. She loved swimming in Libby Creek and Montana lakes, coaching little league, playing pinochle, cribbage, gardening, dancing, oil painting, roller coasters, concerts, butterflies, and the Montana mountains.
She moved to Missoula in 1988, so Shannon could attend the University of Montana. She became the House Mom at the Bethany Home (disabled women’s group home) and cared for all of them as her own. She loved more and married more before meeting the love her life, Joe Salter. Joe fell in love with her beauty, charm, her big brown eyes, and her amazing laugh. For the last 21 years, they laughed, drove on mountain adventures, camped, played in the water, built beautiful gardens, oil painted and crafted wood art, spoiled the kids / grandkids, and worked together at the same dental companies. Debbie retired from American Eagle Dental Instruments in November 2017.
“Mom” to many and a friend to a special few. Survivors include her partner, C. Joseph “Joe” Salter (Missoula); Daughter, Shannon Noble (fiancé Steve Megaard, Missoula), Son, Eric Orr (Kyna, Libby), and daughter, Carla Orr Weber (Rod, Kalispell); Grandchildren: Austin, Megan, and Carter Megaard, Jaymee Robinson (Damion), Eric Orr Jr., Jesse Weber; Great-grandchild, Grayson Robinson; Sister, Cathy Bauer (Neil), Brother (Mike), SIL, Pam Salter, and 5 step-brothers/sisters , numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation is taking place, and at Debbie’s request, there will be no service but rather a Celebration of Life at JoMomma’s house when her flowers bloom. If you would like an invite, please feel free to contact Joe or Shannon on FB (There will be a Facebook event created in the Spring).
