Our daughter passed most unexpectedly while visiting family in Lake Placid. It was a very difficult event, but being assisted by Scott Seawinds provided a measure of dignity, peace, and comfort.

Obituary for Rosella A. Jarvis

Rosella Amsden Jarvis passed away on December 31, 2017 at her home in Lake Placid, FL after a long illness.
Rosella is survived by her sister Annette Amsden Tabor and husband Clark Tabor, her children: Roxanna Loveday, Peter Jarvis and his wife Elizabeth, Vicki DuBois, Sherri Thompson and her husband Fred, Tami Hoag and Yvonne Jarvis plus grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was born in Brookfield, VT, attended high school in Randolph, VT. She married Howard H. Jarvis on February 27, 1954. They had 7 children.
Known as Rose to all her friends, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles and baking.
She and Howard moved to Florida from Massachusetts in 2001, lived for a short time in Sebring before finding their home in Lakeside Mobile Home Park in Lake Placid.
She was an active member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3880 Lake Placid where she served as Treasurer for several years.
Donations in her name can be sent to Cornerstone Hospice in Sebring.
