Gueary Wayne Logan, 74, of Hillsboro, a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, retired Arlington Firefighter, and Longhorn cattle rancher died of natural causes on Friday, February 23, 2018 in Hillsboro.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 28th at Stephenville Funeral Home Chapel with Don Coker officiating. Burial will follow at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Stephenville Funeral Home.

A resident of Hillsboro, Texas for 25 years, Gueary was born in Grand Prairie, Texas on March 1, 1943 to the late G. W. and Maxie Deaton Logan. Gueary grew up in Stephenville, graduating from Stephenville High School in 1961. He married Lola Mae Birdett on April 18, 1964 in Arlington. After graduating from high school, Gueary moved to Fort Worth and Arlington, where he lived several years.

Gueary is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lola Mae Logan; daughter, Trisha Goode and husband Bryan; son, Gerod Logan and wife Jennifer; grandson, Shawn Childs and wife Kati; grandson, Gregory Logan; granddaughter, Samantha Logan; great grandsons, Hunter, Brentley, Dakota, and Gage Childs; sister, Sylvia Jackson and husband Paul; and several nieces and nephews.
