The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Rubye Giles can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: C. Miller
Condolence: Hi I wanted to write to express how sorry I am to hear of the loss of your relative, Mrs. Giles. I understand how you feel. When I have lost someone really close to me, I would turn to the Bible’s message of comfort. At 1 Corinthians 15:21, 22 it strengthens us with these thoughts: “For since death came through a man, resurrection of the dead also comes through a man. For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive.” When we see our loved ones again, how comforting it will be to know that whatever illness or suffering they faced before, they will never have to face again (Revelation 21:3,4). I hope that what we can look forward to in the near future will bring you peace of mind. Take care.

Condolence: I’m deeply hurt by the passing of Moma Giles. She will forever live in our hearts. She was loved by so many from all over. It’s truly a blessing to have known her. She was an angel on earth, and now heaven has taken its angel back. Moma Giles will forever be my 3rd grade art teacher. I love you today, tomorrow and forever. Prayers are being lifted to get you through this tough time.

Condolence: My condolences to the family in the loss of your dear loved one. There is nothing more painful in life then losing a loved one in death. Our loving God Jehovah understand how you feel because death was not a part of his original purpose for mankind (Genesis 1:28). He provides comfort from his word the Bible to help cope with the loss. Psalm 94:19 says;"When anxieties overwhelmed me. You (God) comforted and soothed me" And the wonderful promise at John 5:25 says; Most truly I say to you, the hour is coming, and the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God (Jesus), and those who have paid attention will live. Condolence: The members of Nicholtown Missionary Baptist Church are heart broken at the passing of our beloved "Mother" Rubye Giles. There is very little anyone can say or do to ease the loss of one who meant so very much to you and to us. May you find comfort in knowing there are many hearts that understand and care about you. Our loss is heaven's gain.
