Obituary for Priscilla Robb

Priscilla A. “Pam” Robb, formerly of Oxford, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Chenango Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.

Born on May 24, 1938, in Oneonta, Pam was the daughter of Donald R. and Helen (Enggaard) Robb. Pam is survived by her beloved sister, Cynthia Casanova, of Crystal Lake, IL; niece Elizabeth (Stephen) Casanova, of Crystal Lake, IL; and nephew John (Katie) Casanova, of Frisco, TX. She is also survived by cousins Philip (Jane) Clement, of Norwich, Dale (Laura) Kirchbaum, of Greene, Douglas Kirchbaum, of Greene, Diane (Dave) Quarella, of Greene, Stephanie (Stevie) Morley, of Morris, Patty Jo (David) Betz, of Bothwell, WA, and Chip (Debbie) Enggaard, of Baltimore, MD. Pam was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth, and Sue Kirchbaum.

After graduating from Weedsport Central High School, in Weedsport, NY, she completed a degree at Auburn Community College. Pam then went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany, and also completed a master’s degree in library studies from Syracuse University. After her studies, Pam began work as a librarian at a public library in Rome, NY, then worked as a librarian at IBM in Fishkill, NY. Later, at IBM, she was a systems analyst until her retirement in the early 1990’s from IBM’s Endicott location.

For years, Pam volunteered as a bookkeeper for the Oxford Senior Center. She also enjoyed gardening and completing Thomas Kincade designed puzzles. She collected Thomas Kincade prints and dozens of Williraye figurines. Over the years, Pam had many cats as pets, and adored each and every one of them.

A private funeral service for Pam will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home where Rev. David Spiegel will officiate. There will be no calling hours. Burial will take place in the spring at Sylvan Lawn Cemetery in Greene, NY.
