Condolences

Condolence From: Matthew Timm
Condolence: I am saddened to learn of Les' passing, and my heart breaks for those who were nearest to him. I only knew him for a short time (I worked for him the summers of '92, '93, '94), but those moments were impactful and formative. So much he gave to the young man I was, I cannot even begin to share. He was a big man, with heart and spirit to match. I have not seen him in many years, but I have never not thought fondly upon my time there with him and NYMA, and often the thoughts relived and recounted to my own children. So that all that was grand about Les, here, will be, hereafter. May God see him in, and that we be with him again.

Condolence: Dear Barb and Family: We are so saddened to hear of Les's passing. I am told that he fought a great fight, as is his nature to never give up. His always cheerful attitude and winning smile were daily highlights of our time at NYMA. He certainly positively influenced thousands of young men and women to become the best they could be! May he rest in peace and I look forward to a tee time with him when we meet again. You all are in our thoughts and prayers. May God Bless and comfort your family.

Condolence: Dear Barb and family, we send you prayers and our most sincere condolences. We were blessed to know and work with Les. You and he had a love usually only found in a storybook -- a relationship that stood as a much-needed and sterling example to all the young people he coached and mentored. May you find comfort in the knowledge that this is only the conclusion of the first, earthly chapter of your story. God bless you.
