The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Condolence: Heather--So sorry to learn of Jim's passing. I liked and respected him very much in the times we had on the NS Institute of Science and the domoic acid crisis. As a bacteriologist, he gave me a new perspective on ocean life, that bacteria, not fish or whales or even plankton, were the major oceanic biomass.
